I'm Sarah, your awesome guide for this ride.

Here's a bit about me:

40 years old this year (Yikes); still feels weird writing it.

My spouse and I both work normal, middle-class, public-facing jobs.

I'm a big girl living in a world that is not always accepting I am still a human, no matter what size clothes I wear.

We love to do things and make memories.

What you'll see here:

Real Life: No one is perfect, sorry, not even those on the internet that appear to be. Let's be real.

Fun: We are often doing something fun and making memories. If you cannot join us in person, then I'd love for you to share our experiences here. From various sporting events to concerts and shows, we love it all.

Food: I/We are foodies. We love to eat out in a variety of restaurants and food establishments. I also love to cook, whether it is creating a recipe, adapting meals from childhood or cookbooks, or just throwing some stuff into a pot, I'm all in. I love sharing our meals and recipes. While, by choice, I do follow a lower-carb (mostly) gluten-free lifestyle, I cook for a mixed household and you'll be able to see how we adapt without making two completely different meals.

Travel: Yes, please. Anything, anywhere, anytime. From tropical paradise to super touristy spots and everything in between, we enjoy it. We also love a good road trip, so whether we need an overnight bag or just a snack sack, we definitely try to go treat ourselves.

My Big Life: If you are big yourself, you might feel subconscious or nervous about doing things. I am here to tell you, screw that, just do it! I'd like to share some experiences and advice about traveling and just living while being a larger person. We all have experiences to share.
